RBLX/ai (rblxai.com) vs PromptBlox for Roblox games
RBLX/ai makes Roblox icons and thumbnails; PromptBlox builds the game itself. A fact-checked comparison of what each makes, what it costs and its age rules.
Short answer: RBLX/ai and PromptBlox do different jobs, and one does not replace the other. RBLX/ai, at rblxai.com, is an AI image generator for Roblox graphics: game icons, thumbnails, vector icons and logos. PromptBlox builds the game place itself, the world and its Luau scripts, and gives you a Roblox place file (.rbxlx) to open in Studio when you want to playtest and publish.
Check the age rules first. RBLX/ai’s Terms of Use say you should be at least 18 to use the site. PromptBlox is for ages 13 and up. If you are under 18, RBLX/ai’s own terms say it is not for you.

Is RBLX/ai free?
RBLX/ai has a free Hobby plan, but its pricing page says the Hobby plan does not give you any credits. The free plan lists 3 images per generation, 2 reference images at once, standard image quality and 40 Code Assistant messages a day.
The Pro plan costs $19.99 a month, or $15.99 a month billed yearly, with 90 credits a month. The next plan costs $29.99 a month, or $23.99 a month billed yearly, with 180 credits a month. Enterprise pricing is on request. One-time packs cost $2.49 for 12 credits, $7.39 for 35, $13.99 for 85 and $34.99 for 220.
Credits can also be bought with Robux in RBLX/ai’s Roblox Credits Place, from 999 Robux for 10 credits up to 13,999 Robux for 220. Its documentation says the Roblox account you buy with must be linked to your RBLX/ai account, or the purchase goes to no one.
PromptBlox publishes its prices on the pricing page. The Free plan includes Light builds with a small weekly usage allowance, chat edits, saved versions and .rbxlx export. Paid plans are Lite, Pro, Max, Ultra and Ultra+, starting at $9.99 a month for Lite, and add a larger weekly allowance and higher build levels.
What age do you need to be to use RBLX/ai?
RBLX/ai’s Terms of Use (version 1.0, last modified September 24, 2026) say you should be at least 18 years old to access the site. They also say disputes are settled by binding arbitration, one person at a time, rather than in court. Its privacy policy has no section about children.
PromptBlox is for creators 13 and older, and anyone aged 13 to 18 should have a parent or guardian review the Terms. If you are under 18 and want an icon or thumbnails for your game, ask a parent or guardian to help you pick a tool whose terms allow your age.
Can RBLX/ai make a Roblox game?
No. RBLX/ai makes images. It does not make worlds, scripts or place files. Its pricing page also lists a Code Assistant with a daily message limit, but the site does not explain what that assistant does, so we have not compared it here.
PromptBlox builds the game place. You describe the game in Create, follow the build in the Activity feed and a 3D preview, refine it in chat, and export a .rbxlx file to playtest and publish in Roblox Studio on a Windows or Mac computer. The first build is a starting point, not a guaranteed finished game.
PromptBlox does not make game icons or thumbnails. It makes one concept image per build as the visual reference for that build.
Where each tool fits
The two tools sit at different stages of making a Roblox game. The game comes first: its world, its rules and its scripts. That is the part PromptBlox builds. Icons and thumbnails come near the end, when you publish the game on Roblox and want its page to stand out. That is the part RBLX/ai makes, for users 18 and older.
