Roblox Vehicle Generator

Plan a driving course around a drivable car, or add vehicle-shaped props to your world.

A vehicle might be a parked prop, a collectible or the main way players move. Choose that role first. A race car needs different controls and testing from a ship in the background, even if both begin with a distinctive body shape.

Add vehicles to your game

Describe the vehicles as part of your game idea on the homepage: what each one looks like, where players find it and what it is for. PromptBlox builds them into the same game project as the world, and players can drive the cars it builds. To add a car to a game you already saved, ask for it in chat.

Export the .rbxlx place and drive each car in a Roblox Studio playtest. If the steering, the speed or the way players get in and out feels wrong, describe the change in chat and export again.

Vehicle ideas to develop

A driving course

Ask for a drivable car from the available car assets. Build a course with enough turning space, a visible finish and somewhere to recover after a crash.

Boats and ships

A docked ship can be a landmark or an explorable setting. Treat a custom boat shape as scenery; sailing and steering need separate implementation and testing in Studio.

Aircraft and hover vehicles

Use a parked aircraft or hovercraft as scenery in a hangar. A custom shape does not come with flight controls; plan that work in Studio if players need to pilot it.

Fantasy transport

An enchanted carriage or walking machine can set the scene in an adventure. Keep the route around it clear, and treat movement as a separate system to build and test.

Build the course around a drivable car

For a driving game, request a car from the available car assets. A custom vehicle-shaped object is scenery, not a promise of working wheels, steering or flight. Design the road around the car you receive, then check it in Studio. For example:

Build a desert driving course with a drivable car at the start. Use wide turns, low barriers and a visible finish gate. Leave enough room beside the starting car for players to enter and leave it.

If a turn is too tight or the camera loses the road, adjust the course in the game’s chat:

Widen the first hairpin and move its inside barrier back. Keep the starting car, finish gate and desert setting.

Check the vehicle in your game

Drive every car in a Studio playtest before you publish. Check the seat, steering and braking, and what happens after a crash or when the driver leaves. For a vehicle you saved earlier as a separate item, inspect its model, joints and scripts first; a seat alone does not make an older model drivable. Roblox’s VehicleSeat reference explains Roblox’s built-in driver seat.

  • Enter and leave the vehicle, including while it is stopped on a slope.
  • Test steering, acceleration, braking and recovery after a collision.
  • Try the controls and camera on each intended device.
  • Test with more than one player and check what happens when the driver respawns or leaves.

An example game brief

Describe the full game on the homepage, including how its vehicles should fit the world. For example:

Build a short desert driving course with a drivable car at the start, wide turns and a visible finish gate. Describe the controls, how a player enters and leaves the vehicle, and how the car resets after getting stuck.

Drive the entire course in Studio before adding more routes. Check entering and leaving the seat, getting stuck and resetting at the start. Use the game creation guide for the export and testing steps.

Already have a saved vehicle?

Open it in Library on the account that owns it. Review the preview and any available edit options, then export the .rbxm model. Mesh-based downloads may include a ZIP; keep its files together for import into Studio.

Add the vehicle to your place in Roblox Studio and test it there. This does not merge it into a saved PromptBlox game or sync later Studio edits back to PromptBlox.

Frequently asked questions

Can I generate new vehicles in PromptBlox now?

New standalone item creation is currently turned off. Items you already saved remain available to view and export. To add vehicles to a game, describe them in your game idea or ask for them in chat on a game you already saved. Players can drive the cars PromptBlox builds.

Can players drive the cars?

Yes. Players can drive the cars PromptBlox builds into a game. Test steering, braking and getting in and out in a Roblox Studio playtest, and ask for changes in chat. A vehicle saved earlier as a separate item is a model; check it in Studio before treating it as drivable.

Can I use a saved vehicle in another game?

Export it and add it to a place you can edit in Studio. Adapt its scale, controls and scripts to that game and test the result. This does not add it directly to another saved PromptBlox project.
